ORDINANCE NO. 8 3 1 (#22-86)
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF NATCHEZ
TRACE AND DECLARING IT A DEDICATED STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, has recommended that a portion of Natchez
Trace be dedicated to the City of Jacksonville in order to match
the dedication of that portion of Natchez Trace which was dedi-
cated to the City of Jacksonville at the time of development of
the area known as Northwood Acres.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The dedication of that portion of Natchez Trace
shall be accepted by the City Council of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, and the street shall heretofore be known
as a dedicated street within the City of Jacksonville.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after
the date of its passage.
SECTION 4. This approval is subject to the stipulation that
the requirements of the City of Jacksonville regarding curb and
gutter be met on the northwest side of Natchez Trace before any
permits are approved for this area.
