AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LOTS 4 AND 5 OF GOODSELL
INDUSTRIAL SUBDIVISION BY THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville is desirous of purchasing
property next to its warehouse building, and
WHEREAS, First National Bank of Jacksonville, Arkansas,
desires to sell to the City the two lots described below,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The Mayor is hereby authorized to purchase for
and in the name of the City of Jacksonville the following
described property:
Lots 4 and 5 of Goodsell Industrial Subdivision to the
City of Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 2: That the purchase price authorized from City
funds to be paid to First National Bank, Owner, is $20,000.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of said conflicts.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 6th DAY OF MARCH, 1986.
