AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: A PARCEL OF LAND
BETWEEN VALENTINE AND BORROUGHS ROAD LOCATED ON MAYFAIR ROAD);
AMENDING ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following pro-
perty be and is hereby changed as indicated:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 36,
Township 3 North, Range 11 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, being more particularly described as
follows: Beginning at a point on the South line of
Section 36, Township 3 North, Range 11 West, which
is 797.7 feet West of the Southeast corner of said
Section 36; thence North 89 degrees 07 minutes
West, along the South line of said Section 36, for
666.75 feet to a point on the Easterly right of way
line of Midway Road; thence North 36 degrees 30
minutes West along said Easterly right of way, for
192.0 feet to the point of intersection of the said
Easterly right of way of Midway Road with the
Southerly right of way of Mayfair Road; thence
North 54 degrees 31 minutes East, along said
Southerly right of way, for 657.4 feet; thence
South 40 degrees 50 minutes East for 311.1 feet,
along a line which lies 10 feet from and parallel
to the back face of a curbline of an unnamed raod;
thence South 59 degrees 33 minutes West for 129.98
feet; thence South 33 degrees 09 minutes East for
151.6 feet; thence South 33 degrees 04 minutes East
for 137.9 feet to the point of beginning.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-Q to R-4
(General Location: A parcel of land between Valentine and
Borroughs Road located on Mayfair Road.)
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning map,
should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects
necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in
Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such
conflict.
