A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE TO UTILIZE STATE AID STREET MONIES FOR THE
JAMES & FIRST STREETS OVERLA Y; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES,
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville understands that State Aid Street Program funds
are available for certain City projects at the following participating ratios:
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OFJACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT.-
SECTION ONE: The City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, will participate in
accordance with its designated responsibilities in this Project, together with commitment for
the appropriation of the required funds to pay the City's proportional share of the Project.
SECTION TWO; The Mayor, or his authorized designee, is hereby directed
to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to expedite participation,
development, and construction of these City project.
SECTION THREE; The City agrees upon completion of the Project to
assume the maintenance of the Right -of -Way with City crews and/or others, including
utilities and individuals, all in accordance with the prevailing Arkansas State Highway and
Transportation Department regulations.
