ORDINANCE NO. 924 (#4-90)
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: KEATHLEY SUBDIVISION - LOCATED
BEHIND THE OXFORD INN, SOUTH HIGHWAY 161) ~ AMENDING ORDINANCES
NUMBERS 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND,
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following
property be and hereby is changed as indicated:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Part of the West Half (V2) of the Southeast Quarter (SEV4) of
Section 30, Township 3 North, Range 10 west, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the WV2 of the SEV4 of
Section 30, T-3-N, R-lO-W; thence North along the west
line of said WV2, SEV4, 970.0 feet to the southeasterly
right of way line of Missouri Pacific Railroad; thence N
340 45' E, along said southeasterly right of way line,
1100.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence N 340 45' E
369.20; thence S 550 55' E 71.06; thence S 360 02' 51" E
100.0 feet; thence N 590 41' 35" E 73.0 feet; thence S 330
51' 20" E 93.60 feet; thence S 120 59' 30" W 316.26 feet;

beginning. Containing 2.88 acres, more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from C-3 to C-2.
(General Location: Keathley Subdivision - Located behind the
Oxford Inn, South Highway 161).
SECTION TWO: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning map,
should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects
necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in
Section One thereof.
SECTION THREE: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
