ORDINANCE NO. 905 (#6-89)
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: WEST OF THE FOOTBALL FIELD AT THE
JACKSONVILLE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL NORTH); AMENDING ORDINANCES
NUMBER 213 AND NUMBER 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE v ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following
property be and hereby is changed as indicated:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter (NEV4) of
Section 25, Township 3 North, Range 11 West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, being more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 25,
Township 3 North, Range 11 West; thence South 1
degree 37 minutes West, 84.4 feet; thence South 87
degrees 7 minutes 55 seconds West, 209.9 feet to
the point of beginning; thence South 2 degrees 32
minutes 4 seconds West, 1,103.95 feet; thence North
82 degrees 15 minutes 21 seconds west, 457.8 feet;
thence North 12 degrees 14 minutes 39 seconds East,
687.2 feet; thence North 17 degrees 29 minutes 31
seconds East, 296.95 feet; thence North 28 degrees
29 minutes 18 seconds East, 85.4 feet; thence North
87 degrees 7 minutes 55 seconds East, 226.98 feet
to the point of beginning; containing 8.9 acres,
more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-O to C-3.
(General Location: West of the football field at Jacksonville
Junior High School North.)
SECTION TWO: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance'-No~--2'f3 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning map,
should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects
necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in
Section One, thereof.
SECTION THREE: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in con fI-[ct-he'rew i th are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
