AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, 'ARKANSAS
(GENERAL LOCA TION: PROPERTY ADJACENT TO WEST MAIN STREET FRONTAGE AND
ACROSS FROM 3500 WEST MAIN STREET, JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS); AMENDING
ORDINANCE NUMBERS 213 AND 238 AND THE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following properties be and hereby is
changed as indicated below:
Property Description:
Part of the NE 1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 26, T-3-N, R-10-W, Jacksonville, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Starting at a state monument marking the Northeast corner of Section 26, T-3-N, R-
11-W; thence N 870 59' 32" W, 1347.71 to a found stone monument marking the
NW corner NE 1/4, NE 1/4 Section 26, T-3-N, R-11-W; thence S 030 03' 33" W,
254.79 to a Roint on the West line of said NE 1/4, NE 1/4 Section 26; thence S 710
32' 48" E, 1394.40 to a point on the East line of said NE 1/4, NE1/4; thence N 30 20'
00" E along said East line 649.68 to said state monument to the point of beginning,
containing 13.98 acres, more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from M-2 to R-O, as specified on the
attached810t plan. (General Location: Property adjacent to West Main Street frontage and across
from 350 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No. 213 of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated as the official zoning map
and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects necessary
to effect and designate the changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
