AN ORDINANCE WAIVING COMPETITIVE BIDDING BY THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,z.
ARKANSAS FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING REPAIRS FOR THE POOL A T THe
MARTIN SiREET PARKS AND RECREA TION FACILITY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY;
AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the pool located at the Martin Street Parks and Recreation facilitv, City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, IS in need of re Jair to better Jrovide for the Jublic safety anc welfare
of t le citizens of t le City of Jac <sonvi e; and,
W'- ='~ :AS, it las Jeen determined t lat an aut lorized source for suc 1 repair at a fair
and reasonable rate is Cabot Industries of Cabot, Arkansas, and it has agreed to provide sue 1
needed repairs at a reasonable rate.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:

for the purpose of obtaining re Jairs for fne Martin Street Parks and Recreation pool in
accordance with the Jacksonville Parks and Recreation s Jecifications. Authorization is hereby
given to the \I1ayor and/or lis designated representative to execute t le necessary documents
wit 1 Ca Jot ndustries of Ca JOt. ArKansas, for re Jair of said JOO as out ined J~ t 1e Jar <s and
~ecreation Jepartment speci':ications at t le rate of =our:een T lousand =Ifty-one Jo ars
($14,051.00) , including tax, to be paid for by monies from the Parks and Recreation budgeted
fu nds.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances, Jarts of Ordinances, or Jrevious actions taken by
