AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS
(GENERAL LOCATION: PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1117-C AND 1117-0 NORTH FIRST STREET,
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS); AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 213 AND 238 AND THE
LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY;
AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSESe

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and hereby is changed
as indicated below:
Property Description:
Part of the NW 1/4 of Section 20, T-3-N, R-10-W, Jacksonville, Pulaski County,
Arkansas and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the NW corner of said NW 1/4 of Section 20, T-3-N, R-10-W; thence
South 01 degrees 28' 06" West 1,348.96 feet along the West line of said NW 1/4 of
Section 20; thence South 88 feet 45' 40" East, 232.39 feet along the southerly right-
of-way line of Stonewall Drive; thence leaving said southerly rignt-of-wa~ line South
01 degrees 20' 01" West, 100.0 feet to a #4 rebar found; thence North 88 degrees
34' 44" West, 85.0 feet; thence North 01 degrees 20' 01" East 1 00.0 feet; thence
South 88 degrees 34' 44" East 85 feet to the point of beginning and containing 0.20
acres more or less. Basis for bearing is the record bearing of fhe Southerly right-of-
way of Stonewall Drive as shown on survey plat by George West, dated September
30, 1980.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-3 to R-2. (General Location: Property
located at 1117-C and 1117-D North First Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No. 213 of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated as the official zoning map
and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects necessary
to effect and designate the changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: Because the implementation of these changes is necessary for improved
public peace and safety of the citizens of Jacksonville, an emergency is hereby declared. This
Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and publication, as provided by and subject
to the requirements of applicable law, but is contingent upon an access easement being provided
through the property known as 1117 A North First Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
SECTION FOUR: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
