AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND CONFIRMING ANNEXA TION OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERI " KNOWN AS OAK RIDGE ESTA TES INTO THE
CII J'LIMITS OF JACKSONVILLE (COMMONL Y KNOWN AS THE OAK RIDGE
ESTA TES ANNEXA TION); AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, through Resolution No. 561 (#6-02), the Jac <sonville City Council
urged submission and aJproval of a Petition for Annexation of certain real property
known as Oak Ridge Es~ates, commonly known as the Oakridge Annexation;
WHEREAS, said Petition for Annexation was filed Public Notice was duly
published, and a Public Hearing was held on May 9, 2002. Subsequently, County
Judge Floyd G. Villines 111, through Special Judge Karla Burnettf entered an Order
of Annexation for t le fo lowing aescribed propertY into the City of Jacksonville.
Because of statutol)' requirements, the City Counci must now confirm and accept
said Annexation action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CII "
COUNCIL OF THE CII "OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: The following described property is hereby annexed and
accepted into the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas:
OAK RIDGE ESTATES
Part of the SW 1/4 of Section 5, T-3-N, R-10-W, of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the center of Section 5, T-3-N, R-10-W; thence 5 1056'
