RESOLUTION NO. 3 4 6 (1411 - 85J
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE REVISED PRELIMINARY DRAWING OF
THE VANDENBURG INTERSECTION WITH A PROVISION THAT CERTAIN REVISIONS
BE MADE; AND FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas has issued a recommendation to accept the revised preliminary
drawing of the Vandenburg Intersection with the provisions provided
by City Engineer Duane Reel;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The revised preliminary drawing of the Vandenburg
Intersection should be and hereby is accepted by the City Council of
the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, with the provision that the
following revisions, recommended by City Engineer Duane Reel, be
incorporated in the revised preliminary drawing:
A. That Highway 161 be five lanes wide
at the proposed entrance of the new Wal Mart Discount
Store; and
B. That Highway 161 be three lanes wide
at the area of Loop Road; and
C. That Highway 161 be two lanes wide at
the point it reaches the existing bridge; and
D. That storm drainage be installed on the
east side of Highway 161.
SECTION 2: That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such
conflict.
