RESOLUTION NO. 2 6 4- 8 0
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS,
APPROVING CERTAIN POLICIES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF A HOUSING REHABILITATION
GRANT PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING IMPLEMENTATION OF SAID PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas is undertaking a
variety of community improvement activities with funds available under
the provisions of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act
of 1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has designated certain available funds
to be utilized for the purpose of rehabilitating housing units within
the corporate limits of the City of Jacksonville; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has filed certain Applications to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development to include said Rehabili-
tation Program and the Department of Housing and Urban Development has
subsequently approved said Applications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. That the "Policies Document for Housing Rehabilitation Grant
Program ", dated August, 1980, is hereby in all respects approved as the
policies document to guide the City's activities in implementation of the
Housing Rehabilitation Program.
2. That the City Council does hereby designate the Community De-
velopment Department as the Administering Agent for the Housing Rehabilitation
Program.
3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately.
