RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION TO APPLY FOR A FEDERAL GRANT UNDER THE FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION
CONTROL ACT AMENDMENTS OF 1972 PUBLIC LAW 92 -500, AND THE RULES AND REG-
ULATIONS PURSUANT THERETO.
WHEREAS: The City of Jacksonville, Arkansas has established a Sewer
Commission to be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the sanitary
sewer system of the City and the City deems it necessary and proper to apply
for federal grants under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments
of 1972, Public Law 92 -500, and the rules and regulations pursuant thereto.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved by the City of Jacksonville that DR.
ALBERT JOHNSON, Chairman of the Sewer Commission, or his successor, is hereby
authorized and directed to make application for grants under Public Law
92 -500 and the rules and regulations pursuant thereto, and to sign the acceptance
of the grants, when made, and any other necessary documents required to complete
the project on behalf of the City of Jacksonville and that this Resolution ren-
ders null and void Resolution No. 142 -74.
