A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL
SERVICES CONTRACT WITH MANES AND ASSOCIATES, INC.
FOR SERVICES INVOLVED WITH THE FULL APPLICATION
AND ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW FOR THE SMALL CITIES HUD
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, is desirous of un-
dertaking a sanitary sewer improvements program with federal funds from
the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Small
Cities Community Development Block Grant program, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to obtain the pro-
fessional and technical services of a consultant to assist in the prep-
.
aration of the full application for said funds and the environmental re-
view associated with the application, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to obtain the services of
Manes and Associates, Inc. based on past performance, qualifications, and
experience.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized
to enter into a contract with Manes and Associates, Inc.
in accordance with the Pre - Application as submitted to the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
