Resolution authorizing the mayor of the City of Jacksonville
To Purchase Property Located on S. First St adjacent to
the Present City Hall; Declaring an Emergency and for other
Purposes.
Now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1: That the Mayor of the City of Jacksonville
be and he hereby is authorized to purchase from C.S Dupree and
P.W. Dupree, Jr. for the total purchase price of $24,000 the
following described property located in Pulaski County.
Arkansas to wit:
NE 25' of Lot 3 and the SW 6' of Lot 2 Blk. 26
of the original Town of Jacksonville, Ark. known as
the plat of Station Grounds of Jacksonville, Ark.
recorded in Plat Book #2 page 53 of Pulaski
County, Arkansas.
SECTION 2; This Resolution being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health, safety, welfare
and morale of the citizens of the City of Jacksonvile, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and the above Resolution shall be
in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
