RESOLUTION NO. 173 -76
A RESOLUTION CALLING FORA PORTION OF SCHOOL DRIVE TO
BECOME A ONE -WAY STREET.
WHEREAS, the Arkansas State Highway Com-
mission has recently let a contract for the improve -
ment of the Highway 67 - Main Street Interchange in
Jacksonville, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, traffic operations st1v ies have re-
vealed that to insure efficient and safe operations at the
Main Street - School Drive Intersection, it is essential
that School Drive be converted to one -way operation
northbound frcn Beverly Street to Main Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY'
COUNCIL OF JACKSONVITJE, ARKANSAS, that:
Section 1. The Arkansas State Highway Com-
mission is hereby requested to convert the section of
School Drive from its intersection with Beverly Street
north to Main Street to one -way operation northbound as
shown on the attached drawing.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 1976.
