RESOLUTION NO. / 7-
ESTABLISHING, CREATING AND ADOPTING A SEAL FOR THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, presently has in its
possession a seal purporting to be the "Great Seal City of Jacksonville ", a
replica of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, is presently without
an official seal; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has expressed a desire to officially adopt
the seal presently in use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, hereby adopts as its official
seal that Seal presently on display in the Mayor's office and depicted by a copy
attached hereto as the Great Seal City of Jacksonville.
