AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: CORNER OF
STANPHILL ROAD AND LEMAC DRIVE, A /K /A THE1200 -1300 BLOCKS OF
LEMAC DRIVE, JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS); AMENDING ORDINANCE
NUMBERS 213 AND 238 AND THE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED A N D ENACTED BY THE CI T Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT ::
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and
hereby is changed as indicated below:
Property Description:
Part of the SE 1/4, Section 29, T3N, R1OW, more particularly described as follows:
Starting at the SE corner of the SE 1/4 of said Section 29; thence North along the
East line of said SE 1/4, 478.7 feet to a point; thence West along a line parallel with
the South line of said SE 1/4, 666 feet; thence North along a line parallel with the
East line of the SE 1/4, 628.6 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence Northwesterly
1 along a line common to the Jewel E. Barnard Dodd Trust described herein, a
distance of 824 feet to an iron pipe on the East Right of Way Line on Stanphill Road;
thence Northeasterly along the East Right of Way Line of Stanphill Road, 148.6 feet;
thence Southeasterly along a line common to Bart Gray Trust herein described, 822
feet; thence South along a line parallel with the East line of said SE 1/4, 127.3 feet
to the point of beginning.
Said property is hereby rezoned from classification R -6 to R -1A (General Location:
Lots 1 -10 at the Corner of Stanphill Road and Lemac Drive, a /k/a the 1200 —1300
blocks of Lemac Drive, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No.
213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and
designated as the official Zoning Map and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage and publication, as provided by and subject to the requirements of
applicable law.
