RESOLUTION NO. 137 -74
WHEREAS, a budget has not yet been adopted for fiscal
year 1974, and it is necessary to provide evailable finances
for the operation of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the
City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, that:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk should be and hereby are
authorized to receipt and disburse General, Street, Bond F,
Trust Funds and any and all other funds available and
necessary for the operation of any and all departments and
agencies of City Government until such time as an operating
budget for 1974 had been adopted by the City Council with
said officials documenting and accounting for all deposits
and disbursements of such funds expended for necessary
funcitons of City Government.
2. This resoluiton being necessary for the preservation
of the public health, safety, and welfare an emergency is
declared to exist and the resolution shall be in full force
and effect immediately after its passage.
