ORDINANCE NO, 1460 (#22 - 2012)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING JMC §'¢ 12.04.020, 12.06.020, AND
18,06.020 MODIFYING THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN AND
THE MASTER STREET PLAN;AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Jacksonville Planning Commission hosted a public meeting
and has duly considered and studied the opportunities and possibilities of future
development and growth of the City of Jacksonville, of which it has been
determined that availability of certain residential, commercial, and manufacturing
uses within certain areas could serve as a positive influence on the development
of the City in future years; and,
WHEREAS, adoption of a revised Comprehensive Development Use Plan
and modification and update of the Master Street Plan will provide needed
amendment and modification to existing ordinances and allow development of
the City in an orderly and planned manner, providing continued stimulus to
future development of the City of Jacksonville.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: JMC § 18.06.010 (Comprehensive Development Use
Plan) shall hereby be created and shall read as follows:
There is hereby adopted and implemented a Comprehensive Development
Use Plan for the City of Jacksonville, as detailed and noted on the Attachments
hereto. All development within the City's planning jurisdiction shall adhere to
and comply with the provisions and requirements contained in said plan unless
specifically exempted by a majority vote of the Jacksonville Planning Commission
or Jacksonville City Council.
SEC LION TWO: JMC § 18.06.020 (Land Use Plan) shall hereby created
and shall read as follows:
There is hereby amended the Land Use Plan for the City of Jacksonville,
as detailed and noted on the attachments hereto. All development within the
City's planning jurisdiction shall adhere to and comply with the provisions and
requirements contained in said plan unless specifically exempted by a majority
vote of the Jacksonville Planning Commission or Jacksonville City Council.

SECTION THREE: JMC § 12.04.020 (Master Street and Sidewalk Plan)
shall be amended to include the current versions of the Master Street and
Sidewalk Plans as detailed and noted on the attachments hereto.
SECTION FOUR: All Ordinances and parts thereof in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict.
SECTION FIVE: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage and publication, as provided by and subject to the requirements of
applicable law.
