0105 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAGE SCHEDULE FOR EMPLOYEES IN THE FIRE AND 13,
POLICE DEPARTMENTS:

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas in legal and regular session convened that the following wage
schedule for employees in the Fire and Police Departments of the City
of Jacksonville be adopted:

WHEREAS, it is the concensuz of opinion that a new employee be employed
in the Fire and Police Department under Wage Schedule A, and an employee
in the Fire and Police Department in category of Firefighter or Police
Patrolman, after performing satisfactory service for a period of six
(6) months, shall be advanced automatically to Wage Scale B, and all
other employees in the Fire and Police Departments shall be advanced
to Schedules B, 0, D, E, F, and G only upon the recommendation of the
Chief of their department, said recommendation of Chief shall be
submitted to the City Council for its approval or disapproval.
WHEREAS, each employee in the above named departments, must wear
uniforms, the City of Jacksonville will pay $50 a month for the purchase,
cleaning, etc. of such uniforms.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas,
that the above wage scales and exceptions for employees of the Fire
and Police Department be approved.
THIS RFROLUTION shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
