WHEREAS, after notice of bids, bids were received on September 6,
1968, for purchase of aeration equipment for aerated sewage lagoon, and
at time and place designated, the Council accepted, opened and tabulated
said bids.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas:
That the bid of McCallistor Equipment Company in the amount of
$65,987.00 being the lowest and best bid received therefore is hereby
accepted and the Mayor and the Clerk- Treasurer are hereby empowered
and directed to do so, say, and perform all acts, deeds, and things nec-
essary and requisite to enter into said contract with said Company.
The awarding of said contract to said Company being subject to the
approval of the Federal Water Pollution Control Administration.
