A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT TO
CONVEY WATER ACROSS CERTAIN LANDS IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS
FOR SERVICE TO JACKSONVTrr,, ARKANSAS; AND TO AUTHORIZE SAID
MAYOR TO PAY THE SUM OF FIFTY DOLLARS TO COVER COSTS OF
PREPARING SAID LICENSE.
WHEREAS, it is desirous and necessary for the benefit
of the citizens of Jacksonville, Arkansas, that a certain 16 -inch
cast iron pipe be laid to convey water across certain lands
belonging to Missouri Pacific Railroad Company and being situated
in Sections Twenty (20) and Twenty -One, Township Three (3N) North,
Range Ten (10W) West, Pulaski County, ARkansas, and
WHEREAS, the owner of said land has prepared an agree-
ment allowing said water line to be laid across said lands; and
WHEREAS, the cost of preparing said agreement and license
cost said owner the sum of fifty ($50.00) Dollars; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS: THAT
SECTION 1. The Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the Pipe Line License attached hereto, and
referred to as Form 20021, dated October 22, 1964, with Railroad
Company, for and on behalf of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas;
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said city be and she is
hereby authorized and directed to attest the action of said Mayor
in executing said License, and to affix the Seal of the City
of Jacksonville thereto.
SECTION 3. That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to pay the sum of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars out of the Water &
Sewer_Departftnlef said City for the expenses in preparing said
License.
