AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE.
ARKANSAS (10000 SOUTH HIGHWAY 161); AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND
238 AND THE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and hereby is
changed as indicated below:
Legal Description:
Part of the SE 1/4 of SE 1/4, Sec. 36, T3N, RI I W, now in the City of Jacksonville, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: commencing at the SE corner of
Sec. 36, thence S89°30'00"W, 677.0 feet to a point on the West Right of Way line of Hwy.
161, for the Point of Beginning, thence continuing S89°30'00"W, 116.65 feet; thence
N34°28' 17"W, 136.47 feet (deeded N33°59'W, 137.9 feet); thence N56°32'45"E, 148.03 feet
(deeded N55°34'E, 147.6 feet); thence S41 °25' 16"E, 193.50 feet (deeded S40'23'E, 193.5
feet); thence S50° 12'48"W, 75.00 feet (deeded S53°30' W, 75.00 feet along said Right of Way
line) to the Point of Beginning. — Instrument #2007018799, as recorded March 9, 2007 in the
records of the Pulaski County Circuit/County Clerk's Office. Also known as 10000 So.
Hwy. 161, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076.
Said real property is hereby rezoned from Zoning Classification C-3 to R-1.
SECTION TWO: The map referred in Ordinance No. 213 of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and designated as the official Zoning and
Land Use Map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect
and designate the changes provided for herein.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances and Resolutions or parts thereof in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: To satisfy the operational schedule for the parties involved with
this property, it is necessary for the public welfare, health, and safety to declare an emergency.
Therefore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after its date of passage.
