MINUTES: BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT REGULAR MEETING
DATE AND TIME: November 9, 2015 6:32 p.m. – 6:34 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: Commissioners: Vergil Healey, Art Brannen,
Scott Scholl, Alderman Howard and Chairman Rick White were present. City Attorney Bamburg and City Engineer Whisker were also present.

City Clerk Susan Davitt recorded those listed above in attendance and Chairman Rick White declared a quorum.
APPROVAL AND/OR CORRECTION OF MINUTES:
Alderman Howard moved, seconded by Commissioner Brannen to approve the regularly scheduled meeting minutes of October 12, 2015. MOTION CARRIED.
VARIANCE(S): REAR YARD SETBACK at 305 Harris Road
Chairman White opened the public hearing at approximately 6:33 p.m.
Representative Mike Bennett of Bennett Construction explained that petitioner Kathy Green is requesting a variance to accommodate the construction of a room addition to the rear of the
home. He related that the slab is existing and would be closed in to make a sunroom. He added that it would be a 7’ X 10’ room add.
City Engineer Whisker related that it would be a 2’ variance of the 25’ rear yard setback. He added that no calls were received regarding the request.
With no one to speak in favor or opposition, Chairman White closed the public hearing at approximately 6:34 p.m.
Alderman Howard moved seconded by Commissioner Healey to approve the request regarding a 2’ setback variance at 305 Harris Road as requested. MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT:
Without objection, Chairman White adjourned the meeting at approximately 6:34 p.m. MOTION CARRIED.
