MINUTES: BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT REGULAR MEETING
DATE AND TIME: July 9, 2007 6:52 p.m. – 6:53 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: Commissioners: Bart Gray, Jr., Mark Perry, Glen Keaton, Chairman Brannen, and Representing Engineer Whisker were present

City Clerk Susan Davitt recorded those listed above in attendance and Chairman Brannen declared a quorum.
APPROVAL AND/OR CORRECTION OF MINUTES: Commissioner Keaton moved, seconded by Commissioner Perry to approve the minutes of the regularly scheduled Board of Adjustment meeting of April
9, 2007 as presented. MOTION CARRIED.
VARIANCE(S): a. Front and Rear Yard Setback Variance 1026 Gina Circle
Chairman Brannen opened the public hearing at approximately 6:52 p.m.
Chairman Brannen ascertained that there was no one present to opposed the request for a variance at 1026 Gina Circle. It was also noted that the petitioner was not present.
Commissioner Perry moved, seconded by Commissioner Keaton to table the item of business and offer the petition an opportunity to request a special meeting contingent upon Commissioner
availability. MOTION CARRIED.
Chairman Brannen closed the public hearing at approximately 6:53 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT:
Without objection, Chairman Brannen adjourned the meeting at approximately 6:53 p.m. MOTION CARRIED.

DATE AND TIME: July 12, 2007 2:00 p.m. – 2:01 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: Commissioners: Bart Gray, Jr., Mark Perry, Glen Keaton, Chairman Brannen, and Representing Engineer Whisker were present

Chairman Brannen opened the public hearing at approximately 2:00 p.m.
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
July 12, 2007 continued:
Mr. Paul Fulmer stated his request from a 35’ to a 25’ setback, explaining that the lot is located in the circle. He stated that it is very crowded regarding building space. He then
noted that the structure to the left of the property is on a 25’ setback.
Commissioner Perry noted that he had visited the property and did not feel that a 25’ setback would hinder the appearance of the neighborhood.
Commissioner Perry moved, seconded by Commissioner Gray to approve the setback variance at 1026 Gina Circle as requested. MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT:
Without objection, Chairman Brannen adjourned the meeting at approximately 2:02 p.m. MOTION CARRIED.
