MINUTES: BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT REGULAR MEETING
DATE AND TIME: September 11, 2006 6:30 p.m. – 6:39 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: Commissioners: Glen Keaton, Bart Gray, Jr., and Martha Boyd
Chairman Traylor, and City Engineer Whisker

City Clerk Susan Davitt recorded those listed above in attendance and Chairman Traylor declared a quorum.
APPROVAL AND/OR CORRECTION OF MINUTES:
Commissioner Keaton moved, seconded by Commissioner Gray to approve the minutes of the Regularly Scheduled Board of Adjustment meeting of July 10, 2006. MOTION CARRIED.
VARIANCE(S): Building line setback variance at 6108 Base Meadows Lot 212
Chairman Traylor opened the public hearing at approximately 6:36 p.m.
Mrs. Susan Vaught representing Infinity Homes, Inc. offered a copy of a final survey for lot 212 Base Meadows addressed as 6108 Base Meadows Drive, noting that the house is approximately
5’ over the 35’ setback on the corner. It was noted that the lot is a corner lot with a 35’ setback on both the front and side.
City Engineer Whisker related that the corner makes an odd turn, which brings the setback inward at an angle as it turns.
Gary Vaught of Infinity Homes, Inc. stated that it was an honest mistake, adding that when the home was first laid out it did not appear to cross the build line.
Chairman Traylor closed the public hearing at approximately 6:39 p.m.
Commissioner Gray moved, seconded by Commissioner Keaton to approve the building line setback variance at 6108 Base Meadows Lot 212 Base Meadows Subdivision. MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT:
Without objection, Chairman Traylor adjourned the meeting at approximately 6:39 p.m. MOTION CARRIED.
