REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
AUGUST 13, 2018
7:15 P.M. – 7:18 P.M.
OPENING REMARKS:
The Planning Commission of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas met in a regular session on August 13, 2018. Chairman Moore opened the meeting at approximately 7:15 p.m. expressing appreciation
to those in attendance.
ROLL CALL: Commissioners Patrick Thomas, Barbara Mashburn, Vivian Brittenum, and Dan Brown answered ROLL CALL. Chairman Jim Moore also answered roll call and declared a quorum. PRESENT
(5), ABSENT (2) two positions open.
Others present for the meeting were Public Works Director Jim Oakley, Tommy Bond, and interested citizens, petitioners, and press.
CORRECTION AND/OR APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Commissioner Mashburn moved, seconded by Commissioner Brown to approve the minutes of the July 9, 2018 regularly scheduled meeting. MOTION CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING(S): REZONING 900 MADDEN ROAD R-1 TO R-3
Petitioner Daniel Gray requested that the item be table, offering an opportunity for him to review new information that was provided by the Fire Department.
Councilman Mashburn moved, seconded by Commissioner Brown to table the item of business to the next regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting. MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT: Chairman Moore without objection; adjourned the meeting at approximately 7:18 p.m.
