AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS (PARCEL LOCATED AT 1200/1204 NORTH FIRST STREET); AMENDING
ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238 AND THE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND, FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and hereby is
changed as indicated below:
Legal Description:
A tract of land in the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the
Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 19, Township 3 North, Range 10 West,
described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the said Southeast
Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 19, Township 3 North,
Range 10 West and running directly West 430 feet; thence directly South 100 feet;
thence directly East 430 feet; thence directly North 100 feet to point of beginning.
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (SE 1/4 NE 1/4), of Section
Nineteen (19), Township Three (3) North, Range Ten (10), West more particularly
described as follows: Beginning One Hundred (100) feet South of Northeast
corner of Southeast Quarter of Northeast Quarter (SE 1/4 NE 1/4) of said Section;
thence West Four Hundred Thirty (43 0) feet, thence South One Hundred Ten (I 10)
feet, thence East Four Hundred Thirty (430) feet, thence North One Hundred Ten
(110) feet to point of beginning.
Said real property is hereby rezoned from Zoning Classification C-1 to R -l.
SECTION TWO: The map referred in Ordinance No. 213 of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and designated as the official Zoning and
Land Use Map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect
and designate the changes provided for herein.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances and Resolutions or parts thereof in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: To satisfy the operational schedule for the parties involved with
this property, it is necessary for the public welfare, health, and safety to declare an emergency.
Therefore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after its date of passage.
