AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238 AND THE LAND USE MAP
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND,
FOR OTHER PURPOSES. [GENERAL LOCATION: 4900 & 4800 T.P. WHITE DRIVE]
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and hereby is
changed as indicated below:
Legal Description:
PART OF THE SE 1/4 OF THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 4, T -3-N, R -10-W, PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SE 1/4 OF THE SW 1/4,
SECTION 4, T -3-N, R -10-W, THENCE N01°27'11"E, 1318.49 FEET TO THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE SAID SE 1/4 SW 1/4; THENCE N87°36'53"W, 254.63
FEET TO THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF US 67/167; THENCE ALONG SAID
RIGHT-OF-WAY THE FOLLOWING CALLS: S06°32'42"W, 791.99 FEET; THENCE
S06°32'42"W, 404.38 FEET; THENCE ALONG A CURVE TO LEFT (R=5879.90') A
CHORD BEARING AND DISTANCE OF S06°19'55"W, 128.63 FEET; THENCE
LEAVING SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY S88°06'45"E, 371.73 FEET TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING, CONTAINING 9.49 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
Said real property is hereby rezoned from Zoning Classification R-0 to C-4.
SECTION TWO: The map referred in Ordinance No. 213 of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and designated as the official Zoning and
Land Use Map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect
and designate the changes provided for herein.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances and Resolutions or parts thereof in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: To satisfy the operational schedule for the parties involved with
this property, it is necessary for the public welfare, health, and safety to declare an emergency.
Therefore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after its date of passage.
