BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas,
in legal and regular session convened that the following cage schedule for
employees in the Fire and Plaice Departments of the City of Jacksonville be
adopted:

WHEREAS, it is the consensus of opinion that° a new employee be employed
in the Fire and Police Department /und er Wage Schedule A' and an , employee in the
Fire and Police Depart:mut in category of FIREFIGHTER or PWOLNAN, after per-
forming satisfactory service for a period of six (6) months, shall be advanced
automatically to Wage Scale B, and all other employees in the Fire and Police
Departments shall be advanced to Schedules H, 0, D, E, AND F ONLY upon the
recommendation of the Chief of their department, said recommendation of Chief
shall be submitted to the City Council for its approval or disapproval.
Nov therefore be it resolved by the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas that
the above page scale and exceptions for employees of Fire and Police Department
be approved.
This resolution shall. be in fall force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
