RESOLWYION #14 -
WHEREAS, an June 111, 1957, a decree was entered by the Chancery Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, in the case of First Electric Cooperative Corporation, Inc., Plaintiff, v.
City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Defendant, No. 105777, by which the court ordered that the
plaintiff, First Eleotrio Cooperative Corporation, Ino., have and recover of and from the
defendant, City of Jedksonville, Arkansas, the sum of $1,248.53 toward, the satiafe°tien of
principal and the sum of $656.47 as interest en a contract between the plaintiff ani the
defendant, entered into October 19, 1953, which amounts the oeurt found to be due awl owing
by the defendant to the plaintiff as of April 19, 1957, and which decree further ordered the
defendant te aooeunt to the plaintiff at the end of the calendar year 1957 and each calendar
year thereafter until the satisfaction in full of tin obligations incurred by t he aforesaid
' °entreat, together with costs, and
WHEREAS, it is found as a foot that the additional amounts due and owing by the defendant te
the plaintiff under the aforesaid contract from April 19. 1957, are the sum $3,444.57 as
principal ant the sum of $168.51 as interest as of March 13, 1958, and,
WHEREAS, it is found as a feet that the amounts due and owing by the defendant to the plain-
tiff as aforesaid are available in the fade referred to in the contracts and

WHEREAS, it is found that the aforesaid deoree should not be further resisted but that the
amounts aforesaid should be paid, NON THEREFCEE,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jacks'nville, Arkansas, that the
eu eteiien of the aforesaid funds should be and in hereby directed to apy the aforesaid
amounts totaling $4,693.10 as principal and 0021t.91 ae interest to the First Electric
Cooperative Cerperation, Inc., together with eosts, forthwith, and the attorney for the
City is directed to dismiss the appeal in this matter without delay.
