1624ORDINANCE NO. 1624 (#x`31 - 2019)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND MODIFYING JACKSONVILLE
MUNICIPAL CODE18.52.020 ALLOWING MFCROBREWERIES AS
A PERMITTED USE IN C-4 ZONES WITHIN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, City Council members have been approached about the possible
construction and development of a microbrewery within the City of Jacksonville. Doing so
requires modification of existing ordinances and regulations in order to provide for such
a business enterprise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BEIT ORDAINED BY THE CITYCOMM OF THE CITY
OFJACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT;
SECTION ONE. JMC §18.52.020 [Permitted Uses in the C-4 District] shall be
amended to include the following: Microbrewery.
SECTION TWO: Should any part(s) of this Ordinance be declared invalid for
any reason, no other part(s) of the Ordinance shall be affected thereby.
SECTION THREE; All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR; This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage
and publication, as provided by and subject to the requirements of applicable law.
