1394 ORDINANCE NO. 1394 ( #37 - 09)
_ AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: 905 SOUTH OAK
STREET); AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 213 AND 238AND THE LAND
USE MAP OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED A N D ENACTED BY THE CI T Y COUNCIL O F THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and
hereby is changed as indicated below:

Legal Description:
Part of the Ni /2, 5E1/4 of Section 30, T -3 -N, R -1 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast
corner of the W1 /2, NE1 /4, 5E1/4 of said Section 30; thence South 253.34 feet to
the point of beginning; thence containing South, 711.36 feet; thence S 87° 56' 00"
W, 776.20 feet to a point on the East right-of-way line of U.S. Hwy. 161; thence
along said East right -of -way line N 05° 07' 00" E, 449.70 feet to its intersection
with the East right -of -way line of a county road to Jacksonville; thence along said
-- right -of -way line the following bearings and distances, N 27° 34' 00" E, 37.20
feet N 34° 53' 00" E, 99.00 feet, N 34° 57' 00" E, 190.70 feet, and N 28° 40' 00"
E, 63.52 feet; thence leaving said East right -of -way line, 5 86° 11' 15" E, 523.70
feet to the point of beginning. Containing 12.02 acres, more or less.
Said property is hereby rezoned from classification C -4 and R -2 to C -2 (General
Location: 905 South Oak Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No.
213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and
designated as the official Zoning Map and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage arid publication, as provided by and subject to the requirements of
applicable law.
