AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: PROPERTY ON HWY.
161 ADJACENT TO SHANNON DRIVE); AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERS
213 AND 238 AND THE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,

ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT ::
SECTION ONE; The zone classification of the following property be and
hereby is changed as indicated below:
Property Description:
Part of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4, Section 1, Township 2 North, Range 11 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Valentine Road (formerly known
as Dick Jeter Road) and the southerly right -of -way line of Arkansas State Highway
161 (Formerly known as U.S. Highway No. 67) Thence N 53° 00' 00" E along said
southerly right -of -way, a distance of 424.82 feet to the point of beginning, thence
continuing N 53° 00' 00" E along right -of -way a distance of 99.91 feet; thence
leaving said rights -of -way 36° 57' 54" E a distance of 172.24 feet; thence S 49° 59'
17" W a distance of 80.35 feet; thence N 43° 19' 36" W a distance of 177.54 feet to
(--., the point of beginning, containing 0.361 acres more or less.
{ Said property is hereby rezoned from classification C -3 to R -3 (General Location:
Property on Hwy. 161 adjacent to Shannon Drive, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No.
213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and
designated as the official Zoning Map and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR; This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage and publication, as provided by and subject to the requirements of
applicable law.
