AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: PROPERTY AT THE
INTERSECTION OF SOUTH OAK STREET AND SOUTH FIRST STREET);
AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 213 AND 23SAND THE LAND USE MAP
OF THE CITY OFIACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and
hereby is changed as indicated below:
Property Description:
TRACT ONE:
Part of the N 1/2 SE 1/4 of Section 30, Township 3 North, Range 10
West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the W 1/2 NE 1/4 SE 1/4 of said
Section 30; thence South 964.70 feet; thence S 87 degrees 56
minutes 00 seconds W, 150.10 feet; thence North 969.40 feet; thence
N 89 degrees 42 minutes 00 seconds E, 150.00 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 3.33 acres more or less.
TRACT TWO:
Part of the N 1/2, SE 1/4 of Section 30, T -3 -N, R- 10 -VV, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the W 1/2, NE 1/4 SE 1/4 of
said Section 30; thence South 964.70 feet; thence S 87 degrees 56
minutes 00 seconds W, 150.10 feet to the point of beginning; thence
continuing S 87 degrees 56 minutes 00 seconds W, 628.10 feet to the
East right -of -way line of U.S. Highway No. 67; thence N 05 degrees
07 minutes 00 seconds E, 449.70 feet along said right -of -way to its
intersection with the East right -of -way line of a county road to
Jacksonville; thence N 27 degrees 34 minutes 00 seconds E, 37.20
feet; thence N 34 degrees 53 minutes 00 seconds E, 99.00 feet;
thence N 34 degrees 57 minutes 00 seconds E, 190.70 feet; thence
N 28 degrees 40 minutes 00 seconds E, 122.00 feet; thence N 22
degrees 18 minutes 00 seconds E, 107.50 feet; thence N 42 degrees
42 minutes 00 seconds E, 89.70 feet to its intersection with the North
line of said N 1/2, SE 1/4; thence N 89 degrees 42 minutes 00
seconds E, 243.20 feet; thence S 969.40 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 1.22 acres more or less.
Tract One is hereby rezoned from classification R -1 to R -2. Tract Two is hereby
rezoned from classification R -1 to C -3. (General Location: Property located on the
East side of South Oak and South First Streets, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No.
213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and
designated as the official Zoning Map and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
