ORDINANCE NO. 1320 ( #19 - 07)
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: PROPERTY FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE
HALLELUJAH TRAILER PARK, VALENTINE ROAD); AMENDING ORDINANCE
NUMBERS 213 AND 238 AND THE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and
hereby is changed as indicated below:
Property Description:
Legally described as follows: Part of the SEA of Section 36, T -3 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of Section 36, T -3 -N, R -11 -W, which is 797.7 feet
West of the Southeast corner of said Section 36; Thence N 89° 07' W, along the South
line of said Section 36, for 666.75 feet to a point on the Easterly Right -of -Way line of
Midway Road; Thence N 36° 30' W, along said Easterly Right -of -Way, for 192.0 feet to
the point of intersection of said Easterly Right -of -Way of Midway Road with the
Southerly Right -of -Way of Mayfair Road; Thence N 54° 31' E, along said Southerly
for 657.4 feet; Thence S 40° 50' E, for 311.1 feet, along a line which lies
Right-of-Way, 0 6 9
10 feet from and parallel to the back face of a curbline of an unnamed road; Thence S
59° 33' W for 129.98 feet; Thence S 33° 09' E for 151.6 feet; Thence S 33° 04' E for
137.9 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The above - described property is hereby rezoned from zoning classification R -4 to R -1.
(General Location: Property formerly known as the Hallelujah Trailer Park on Valentine
Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No.
213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and
designated as the official Zoning Map and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage
and publication, as provided by and subject to the requirements of applicable law.
