1315 ORDINANCE NO. 1315 ( #14 - 07)
- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND MODIFYING JACKSONVILLE MUNICIPAL
CODE 55 18.28.020 AND 18,32.020 TO ALLOW PERMITTED USE OF
SINGLE FAMIL YAND TWO FAMIL YSITE BUILT DWELLINGS IN R -2 AND
R -3 ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, provisions in the current zoning classifications do not allow for
single family and two family site built dwellings to be constructed in R -2 and R -3
zoning classifications (respectively] as permitted uses, and it has been deemed
appropriate and beneficial to do so to match existing development within the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT CITY
ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CI
COUNCIL OF THE CITY THEREFORE, BE ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: JMC § 18.28.020 (R -2 - Permitted Uses) shall be
amended and modified to include the following:
Single Family Site Built Dwellings
SECTION TWO: JMC § 18.32.020 (R -3 - Permitted Uses) shall be
amended and modified to include the following:
Single Family Site Built Dwellings
Two Family Site Built Dwellings
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its date
of passage, subject to and in compliance with all applicable laws.
