ORDINANCE NO. 501
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE 268 OF 1972; DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (WATER CONNECTION FEES OUTISDE
CITY LIMITS)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1: Section 2 of Ordinance 268 of 1972 and 13.16.030 of
the Jacksonville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1: The connection fee shall, in Section 13.16.030,
be doubled or shall be the cost of installation, whichever
is greater, for all meters outside the corporate limits of !:
the City of Jacksonville."
SECTION 2: This Ordinance being necessary for the immediate pre-
servation of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens
of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and the above Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediate4 .
