0488 ORDINANCE NO. 4 8 8
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 472 AND 479 OF 1978; DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (EXECUTING EASEMENTS TO TEXAS
EASTERN TRANSMISSION CORPORATION - GRAHAM ROAD AREA).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance Numbers 472 and 479 of 1978, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
1. That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to execute an easement
deed to the following described property: **
** West Half of Northwest Quarter, Section 27, Township 3
North, Range 10 West, Lonoke County, Arkansas,
to Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation for the sum of One Thousand One
Hundred Twenty Five and 74/100 ( $1,125.74) Dollars.
That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to execute an easement
deed to the following described property. **
** South 10 acres of East Half of the Northeast Quarter, Section
28, Township 3 North, Range 10 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
to Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation for the sum of Two Hundred Sixty -
four and 88/100 ($264.88) Dollars.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances inconsistent with the provisions of this
ordinance shall be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens of the City
of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and the
above Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after its passage.
