AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (PHASE III OF
BRIARFIELD SUB. SECTION 3) (West of Loop Road, approx. location)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following property be and
is hereby changed as indicated:
Section 3, Phase III, BRIARFIELD SUBDIVISION,
Part of the SW; NW; of Section 28, T3N, RIOW, Jackson-
ville, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:
Starting at the NW conrer of said SWa NW4: thence
South 88 degrees 28 minutes 30 seconds East 850.04
feet to a point: thence South 1 degree 21 minutes 37
seconds West 1509.28 feet to the point of beginning:
thence South 89 degrees 20 minutes 00 seconds East 195.96
feet to a point; thence South 1 degree 27 minutes 00
seconds West 1121.04 feet to a point; thence North 89
degrees 21 minutes 50 seconds West 194.65 feet to a
point: thence North 1 degree 21 minutes 37 seconds
East 1120.61 feet to the point of beginning, contain-
' ing 5.02 acres, more or less. Rezoned from R -1 to
R -5. (Approx. location: West of Loop Road)
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 601 of the Ordinance
No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No.
238, and designated official zoning map, should be and hereby is amended
to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens of the
City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall have full force and effect immediately after its
passage.
