ORDINANCE NO. a'
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGEN-
CY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (ZERO LOTLINE DEVELOPMENT -W OF LOOP RD)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACK-
SONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following
property be and is hereby changed as indicated:
Section 3, Phase I, BRIARFIELD SUBIDIVISION, Lots
1 through 15, Block 7,
Part of the SWw NW4 of Section 28, T3N, R1OW,
Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as follows:
Starting at the NW corner of said SW Quarter,
NW Quarter; thence South 88 °28'30" East 850.04
feet to a point; thence South 01 °27' West 35
feet to the point of beginning; thence South
88 °28'30" East 198.3 feet to a point; thence
South 01 °27' West 409.95 feet to a point;
thence North 88 ° 45'10" West 197.65 feet to a
point; thence North 01 ° 21'37" East 410,91
feet to the point of beginning, containing
1.87 acres, more or less. Rezoned from R -1 to
R -5. (Approx location/ West of Loop Road.)
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
the Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas,
as amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated o- ficial zon-
ing map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in
the respects necessary to effect and designate the changes
provided for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
SECTION 4: This ordinance being necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health, safety, welfare
and morale of the citizens of the City of Jacksonville, Arkan-
sas, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordi-
nance shall have full force and effect immediately after its
passage.
