AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AMENDING OR-
DINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSON-
VILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES, (NORTHLAKE SUBDIVISION)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACK-
SONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1, The zone classification of the following
property be and is hereby changed as indicated;
A tract of land lying in Section 27, Township
3 North, Range 11 West, Jacksonville, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, being more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of the SEA
of the NW% of Section 27, T -3 -N, R -11 -W; thence
S 00 56' 15" W, 977.15 feet; thence N 89° 09'
37" E, 1120.94 feet; thence S 00° 50' 23" E,
570.0 feet; thence S 15° 08' 22" E, 152,83
feet; thence S 39 20' 23" W, 305.0 feet to
the point of beginning, said point being on
the southeasterly right -of -way line of Oneida
Street; thence continue S 39° 20' 23" E, 230.0
feet; thence S 61° 19' 39" E 70.82 feet; thence
S 25° 51' 16" W, 115.6 feet; thence N 89° 09'
42" W, 434,02 feet to the southeasterly right -
of -way line of Oneida Street; thence along said
southeasterly right -of -way line along a curve to
the right (a = 27 49' 57 ", R = 542.96') a chord
bearing and distance of N 36 35' 37" E, 263.94
feet; thence continue along said southeasterly
right -of -way line N 50 39' 37" E, 154,01 feet
to the point of beginning: containing 2,04
acres, more or less. Northlake Rezoning from
R -0 to C -2.
SECTION 2, That the map referred to in Section 601 of
the Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided
for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such
conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance being necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health, safety, welfare and
morale of the citizens of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
have full force and effect immediately after its passage.
