AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING CERTAIN TERRITORY AS ANNEXED TO THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (LOOP ROAD AREA)
WHEREAS, on Jul 20, 1977, the Pulaski County Court approved

annexation of the following described lands to the City of Jacksonville,
Pulaski County, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, That:
Section 1. That the following described lands are hereby accepted
as annexed to the City of Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
All of the North 100 feet of Tract No. 3 lying East of East Right -
of -Way line of Loop Road of the Subdivision of the SINZNW& Section
28, Township 3 North, Range 10 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
said subdivision being recorded in Deed Book 301, Page 37, being
more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the NE corner
of said Tract No. 3; thence West 281.8 feet to the East Right -of -Way
line of Loop Road; thence South along said East Right -of -Way line
100 feet; thence East 282.4 feet to the East line of said Tract No. 3;
thence North 100 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.65 acres,
more or less.
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of
this community and its citizens; that an emergency is hereby declared and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
