AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES _
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
Section 1. The zone classification of the following property be and is
hereby changed as indicated:
The Southwest Quarter (SW4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of
Section 8, Township 3 North, Range 10 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
less and except one square acre in the Northeast corner thereof and less and
except two square acres in the Northwest corner thereof, the described area
containing 37.25 acres, more or less. Rezoned from R -0 to R -3.
Section 2. That the map referred to in Section 601 of the Ordinance
No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No.
238, and designated official zoning map, should be and hereby is amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the changes
provided for in Section 1 thereof.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
Section 4. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens of the City
of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall have full force and effect immediately after its passage.
