AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN RHa L
PROPERTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas needs certain real
property for purposes of ingress and egress to other city property; and
WHEREAS, the property in question has been offered to the City of
Jacksonville at a price which corresponds with appraisals thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSOIWILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, is
hereby authorized to purchase from the record owners at a cost of $1800.00
the following described real property, to -wit:
Part of the North Half of Section 25, Township 3 North, Range 11
West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, starting at the Southwest corner of the
SEY of the NW'/,, Section 25, Township 3 North, Range 11 West; thence
South 80° 57' East 884 feet; thence North 16° 42' East 1228.5 feet; thence
South 73° 53' East 300 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 73 53'
East 105.91 feet; thence South 16° 43' West 98 feet; thence North 73 15'

West 105.8 feet; thence North 16 10 East 96.4 feet to e in-

ning, containing .24 acres, more or less.
Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate pre-
servation of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens
of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance shall have full force and effect immediately after
its passage.
