ORDINANCE NO. 3 /
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN LANDS IN PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, on`
certain dates reflected upon the minutes of the County Court,
upon the petitions of certain persons owning all of the property
affected, after due notice of said hearings upon said petitions
for the time and in the manner prescribed by law, ordering the
annexation to the City of Jacksonvi -lae of those certain. -lands
hereinafter described and contiguoup tattle present limits of the
City of Jacksonville, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED :BY TAE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
Section 1: That the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas; acting
through its City Council, does hereby approve and accept for an-
nexation and does hereby make a part of the incorporated area of
the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, the following described real
property, to -wit:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 21, Township 3 North, Range 10 West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the SW corner of said Section 21; thence North
1318.91 feet to the NW corner of said SW1 Sigh; thence
North 88 degrees 03 minutes 10 seconds East 427.64 feet;
thence South 00 degrees 19 minutes 40 seconds East 1329.37
feet to a point on the South line of said Sigh SW'; thence
South 89 degrees 27 minutes 40 seconds west 435.02 feet to
the point of beginning, containing,11,108 acres, more or .
less.
