AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND
238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
WHEREAS, certain property owners have duly filed petitions for
the rezoning of their properties; public notices have been duly run in the
Jacksonville News, a newspaper having authority to publish notice; public
hearings have been held pursuant to the public notices and at the time and
place set therefor; that the Planning Commission has considered each re-
quest and has made the recommendation that the zone classification be
changed as hereinafter indicated.
NOW, THEREFORE, B E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
Section 1. The zone classification of the following property be and
is hereby changed as indicated:
Lot 78 West Jacksonville Subdivision No. 1, Pulaski County,
Arkansas. Rezoned from Class R -3 to Class C -2; and
Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20, Block 1, West Jackson-
ville Subdivision No. 2; and Lots 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block 29, Original
Town of Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Rezoned from Class
R -4 to Class C -2.
Section 2. That the map referred to in Section 601 of the Ordinance
No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance
No. 238, and designated official zoning map, should be and hereby is amended
to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the changes
provided for in Section 1 thereof.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
Section 4. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens

of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall have full force and effect immediately after
its passage.
