AN ORDINANCE HAVING FOR ITS PURPOSE THE ENACTMENT OF
CRIMINAL LAWS FOR THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION I. That the criminal laws of the State of Arkansas as
defined and set forth in Arkansas Statutes Annotated, 1947, as subsequently
amended by the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas, are
hereby adopted and enacted as the criminal laws for the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That the same penalties as set forth in the aforesaid
statutes of the State of Arkansas for violation of criminal laws of the State of
Arkansas are hereby enacted and adopted by the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 27 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas
is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. For the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health and safety an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
take effect immediately after its passage and publication as provided by law.
