0280 ORDINANCE NO. 280
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING CERTAIN TERRITORY AS ANNEXED TO THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on September 6, 1972, the Pulaski County Court ap-
proved annexation of the folbwing described lands to the City of Jacksonville,
Pulaski County, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, That:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands are hereby accepted as

annexed to the City of Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Part of the NW4 NW'/a Section 22, Township 3 North, Range 11
West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described
as follows, to -wit: Commencing at the Northeast corner thereof
thence running South 208.71 feet to point of beginning, thence
South 674.49 feet, thence West 90 feet Northwesterly along
Northerly right of way of General Samuels Road 169.73 feet,
thence North 552.04 feet, thence East 208.1 feet to the point
of beginning, containing 3.06 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of
this community and its citizens; that an emergency is hereby declared and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 46 i day of November, 1972.
